Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and transformational leadership style on the performance of the employees of the Social Service for Village Community Empowerment in Takalar Regency, and to determine the dominant influencing factors. This type of research is a survey. The study population was all 70 employees of the Village Community Empowerment Social Service Office in Takalar Regency, who were organic employees (PNS). Because the population is small or less than 100 people, the entire population is used as a sample (100% sample). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that work motivation and transformational leadership style had a positive effect both partially and simultaneously on the performance of the employees of the Social Service for Village Community Empowerment in Takalar Regency. This can be seen from the significance value of the partial regression coefficient (t-test) and the simultaneous test (F-test) which are smaller than the alpha value of 0.5%, where the transformational leadership factor is the most influential factor
