Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to determine and analyze the influence of competence on personnel performance at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin, (2) to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment on personnel performance at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin, (3) to determine and analyze the influence of competence and work environment simultaneously on the performance of personnel at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 292 personnel and sampling using Slovin's method with a total sample of 169 personnel. The method of analysis uses multiple linear regression methods with the help of SPSS 21 software processing. Hypothesis testing uses the F test (simultaneous test), determinant test and t test (partial). Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the results of the research are (1) simultaneously the competency variables and work environment have a positive and significant effect on personnel performance variables at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin, (2) Competency variables have a positive and significant effect on personnel performance at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin, ( 3) Work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on personnel performance variables at Bekangdam XIV Hasanuddin.
