Abstract

These research aims to analyzed the effect of interest rate on third party consist of deposit, current accoutns and savings toward the cost of funding at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk. Makassar Regional Office, and to analyzed the dominant effect of interest rate on third party toward the cost of funding at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk. Makassar Regional Office. These research used the quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The method of research namely descriptive. Data analysis to description of financial performance by banking sector and to analyzed used the multiple regression. The result of research showed that the interest rate of bank from the banking products such as the interest rate from the deposit, current account and saving have significant effect toward the cost of fund. The management of interest rate to measure based on liquidity with the funds product based on the quick ratio, loan to asset ratio and cash ratio from PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk. Makassar Regional Office. The result of multiple regression in simultaneous based on the R test as amount 0.991, F-count as amount 17.396 with significant 0.000 that mean have positive and significant. In partially based on R-square as amount 0.981, t-student more large from t-table (1.67) and obtained regression value (B) showed the significant < 0.05 that mean the independent variables of interest rate on third party in partially have positive and significant toward the cost of fund at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk. Makassar Regional Office. The interest rate on third party namely deposit have dominant effect toward the cost of fund. That mean the customer have interest rate of deposit more large and would give benefit for bank in gathered of customer fund. The interest rate of deposit have effect toward the cost of fund at PT.
