Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of profitability on firm value at PT. Unilever, Tbk. This research is descriptive using secondary data in the form of financial statements of PT. Unilver, Tbk. and has been examined by a Public Accountant with an unqualified opinion. The research period is 60 quarters during the period 2006-2020. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the profitability variable using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) together (simultaneously) had a significant effect on the firm value variable using Price Book Value (PBV). Partially, Return on Assets (ROA) has a negative but not significant effect on Price Book Value (PBV) and Return on Equity (ROE) has an effect on Price Book Value (PBV) of PT. Unilever, Tbk positive and significant.
