PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIR TERHADAP KUALITAS LAYANAN PUBLIC MELALUI MOTIVASI KERJA PADA DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP KABUPATEN BANTAENG
Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation and career development on the quality of public services through work motivation at the Bantaeng Regency environmental service. The population in this study were all employees of the Bantaeng District Office of the Environment, totaling 88 people. The sample in this study was 88 people. The sampling technique for respondents was carried out using simple random sampling technique which implies that each element of the population has the same opportunity to be sampled. This study used a quantitative/descriptive method. Data collection methods used were observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Test the quality of the data using validity and reliability tests. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis, F test (simultaneous test), t test (partial test), and test the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the variable compensation and career development had a positive and significant effect on the variable quality of public services (through the F test). And the results of the partial test (t test) showed that the variable compensation and career development had a positive and significant effect on the variable quality of public services. so that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted. As well as the results of the test for the coefficient of determination, the R Square value shows a value of 0.745 or 74.5% indicating that the ability of the independent variable is very strong to explain the dependent variable and the remaining 25.5% can be explained by other variables outside of the research variable. Thus the regression equation obtained is efficient for describing the form of the relationship between variables.
