Abstract

This study had three (3) problem statements that are synchronized with three (3)research objectives, namely: 1) to analyze the effect of workload on job satisfactionof health workers at Aska Health Center, South Sinjai District; 2) to analyze theeffect of compensation on job satisfaction of health workers at Aska Health Center,South Sinjai District; 3) to analyze the simultaneous effect ofworkload andcompensation on job satisfaction of health workers at Aska Health Center, SouthSinjai Disrict. The population in this study were all health workers at Aska HealthCenter, South Sinjai District, totaling 56 workers. The sample used censustechnique, meant total population. The data analysis technique used in thisresearch is multiple linear regression using SPSS (Statistical Package for SocialSciences) software used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The research testsused: validity test, reliability test, hypothesis test that divided into partial test,simultaneous test and determination. The results showed that the wage indicatorwas the most dominant in measuring the compensation variable, causing a positiveand significant effect on job satisfaction, especially satisfaction with the salaries ofhealth workers. This was possible because the compensation obtained by healthworkers is considered low by health workers, causing employee job satisfaction atwork to be only considered quite satisfied and that compensation had a positiveand significant effect on job satisfaction. This showed that low compensation canaffect to the job satisfaction of health workers. Aska Health Center is expected topay more attention and re-evaluate whether the incentives provided are inaccordance with the expectations of health workers and the workload provided.
