PENGARUH MINAT BELAJAR DAN PERSEPSI TENTANG KEMAMPUAN PENGAJAR DALAM MENGAJAR UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA POLITEKNIK MARITIM AMI MAKASSAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Learning Interest and Perceptions About the Ability of Teachers In Teaching For Development Student Achievement Sailing Politeknik Maritim Ami Makassar. The population in this study is the students of Politeknik Maritim Ami Makassar who numbered 100 people. The sample in this research is 100 people. Respondent sampling technique is done by simple random sampling technique which means that every element of population has equal opportunity to be sample. This research uses quantitative method. Methods of data collection used is by way of observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Test data quality using validity and reliability test. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, F test (simultaneous test), t test (partial test), and test of coefficient of determination. The results showed that the variables of interest in learning and perception have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement variable (through F test). And from the results of partial test (t test) showed that the variable interest in learning and perception have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement, so the hypothesis in this research can be accepted. As well as the results of determination coefficient determination obtained R Square value shows the value of 0.253 or 25.3% indicates that the ability of indenpendent variable is not strong enough to explain the dependent variable and the rest of 74.7% can be explained by other variables outside of the research variables. Thus the regression equation obtained efficiently to describe the form of relationship between variables.
