Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of personal abilities and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Geomine Engineer Indonesia, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted at PT. Geomine Engineer Indonesia with a sample of 185 populations taken from employees of PT. Geomine Engineer Indonesia as respondents. Of the 185 population, only 53 respondents were eligible for this study. Descriptive data analysis was used to explain the descriptions of research data from 53 respondents who met the requirements. This study also uses multiple linear regression analysis to identify quantitative data. The results of "t test" prove that the independent variable of employee ability (X1) with a value of "t count" 7.252> "t table" 2.00856, with a determination coefficient of 50.8% with the result that, there is an effect on employee performance (Y). job satisfaction (X2), with a value of "t count" 2.141> "t table" 2.00856, with a determination coefficient of 8.2%, so that there is an effect on employee performance. The F test on variables X1 and X2 which refers to personal abilities and job satisfaction has a value of "F count" 26.890> Ftable 3.18 with a determination coefficient of 51.8%, so there is an influence on employee performance.
