Abstract

This study aimed to (1) find out and analyze the influence of work discipline on teachers’ performance (2) find out and analyze the influence of organizational communication on teacher performance. This research was conducted at SMP Kartika XX-I Hasanuddin. The population in this study was 21 teachers. The sampling technique was total sampling. The data were collected and analyzed using descriptive analysis and simple registration. From the results of the descriptive analysis, it was concluded that: (1) there was a significant effect of work discipline on teachers’ performance, (2) there was a significant effect of organizational communication on teachers’ performance. From the data that can be explained by the model is equal to 0.910 or in other words the information contained in the data was 91.0%. It can be explained that the work discipline and communication in organizations have a very positive influence on teachers’ performance at SMP Kartika XX-I Hasanuddin.
