Abstract

The resesearch aims to know and analysis the effect leadership and service quality toward satisfaction by employee, and to know and analysis the dominant variable which effect toward satisfaction by employee Department of Population and Civil Registration at Makassar City. This research was conducted in Department of Population and Civil Registration at Makassar City, with population and sample as amount 155 respondent. Data were analyzed descriptively to explain the research data, while to analyze the quantitative data used of multiple regression analysis. The result of research showed that the leadership have positive and significant toward satisfaction by employee on Department of Population and Civil Registration at Makassar City. The leadership have applied suitable with the leader instruction, consultation between leader with subordinate, participation in give service and delegation from leader to subordinate for get best service and delegation from leader to subordinate for get best service toward increased to satisfaction by employee. The service quality have positive and significant toward satisfaction by employee on Department of Population and Civil Registration at Makassar City. The service quality which dominant effected toward satisfaction employee.
