PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PERUSAHAAN PT. PASSOKORANG DI KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of capital structure on the profitability of PT. PASSOKORANG in Makassar. This research is a quantitative research by using the financial statements in 2013-2018. The data used was primary and secondary data. The research data was obtained from the library method. The analytical method used was descriptive method, normality test and simple linear regression analysis method, hypothesis testing with data management used SPSS for windows (25.0). the result of this research showed that the capital structur has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of PT. PASSOKORANG in 2013-2018. It can be seen from the simple regression test results obtained by the correlation coefficient r(x I y) -0.826 and the coefficient of determination r2(x I y) of 0.863. the test was 2.933 and the significance value was smaller than the level of significant (0.043<0.050). the regression line equation was Y = (-0.188) + 0.595 X. it means that if the value of X was zero, then the Y value was -0.188 and if the value of Debt to Asset Ratio (X) goes up by one unit, the value of Profitability (Y) increased by (-1.858) units
