Hubungan Antara Kekuatan Otot Lengan Dan Koordinasi Mata-Tangan Terhadap Keterampilan Passing Bawah Dalam Permainan Bola Voli Siswa SMA Negeri 4 Makassar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength on under-passing skills, the relationship between eye-hand coordination and under-passing skills, and the relationship between arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination on under-passing skills in volleyball games for students of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. This type of research is correlational. The population of this research is the students of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar and the sample taken is 30 students. The sampling technique was randomized using a lottery. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and the data were analyzed using the SPSS version 21 application. The results showed that 1). There is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and underpassing skills in SMA Negeri 4 Makassar with a correlation value (r) = 0.695. 2). There is a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination on under-passing skills in the volleyball game of students of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar with a correlation value (r) = 0.719. 3). There is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination on underpassing skills in the volleyball game of SMA Negei 4 Makassar students with a correlation value (r) = 0.807, and with a coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.652 or equal to 65, 2%. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination on under-passing skills in the volleyball game of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar students..
