Abstrak

This research is aimed to prove the correlation of eye-hand coordination and overhand pass ability in volleyball, the correlation of arm muscle strength and overhand pass ability in volleyball, the correlation of leg muscle strength and overhand pass ability in volleyball, the correlation of eye-hand coordination, arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength simultaneously on overhand pass ability in volleyball. The research method used quantitative and the research type was a correlational research involving three independent variables, namely eye-hand coordination, arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength, while the dependent variable is the overhand pass ability in volleyball. The population in this research were students of Penjaskesrek STKIP YPUP Makassar batch 2018 in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, with sample 30 participants taken by simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used correlation coefficient. The results of the research showed that: 1) There was a significant correlation of eye-hand coordination and overhand pass ability in volleyball with a value of r = 0.515 (p <ɑ = 0.05); 2) There was a significant correlation of arm muscle strength and overhand pass ability in volleyball with a value of r = 0.616 (p<ɑ= 0.05); 3) There was a significant correlation of leg muscle strength and overhand pass ability in volleyball with a value of r = 0.597 (p <ɑ = 0.05); 4) There was a significant correlation of eye-hand eye coordination, arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength on overhand pass ability in volleyball with a determination value of R2 = 0.772 (p<ɑ= 0.05).
