EFEKTIVITAS METODE PEMBELAJARAN RESITASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 11 TELLO BARU MAKASSAR

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of recitation learning method in students' mathematics learning. This type of research was apre-experimental with 22 students of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Tello Baru Makassar, aspopulation. The research used total sampling technique. The collected data was analyze dusing descriptive and inferential statistic alanalys is techniques.The results showed that: (1) the average student learning outcomes before being taught by the recitation learning method was 38.681 categorized as very low and the standard deviation was 17.474 and the ideal score was 100 and the average learning outcome after being taught through the recitation learning method was 80.455. in the high category and significantly greater than the KKM (70); (2) classical completeness was fulfilled by 100%; (3) students' mathematics learning outcomes after applyingthe recitation learning method experienced a significant increase from pretest toposttest with a gain value of 0.675 in the medium category; (4) student activity inthe learning process was 85.71% and was in the very active category; (5) student responses to the learning process by 75% were in the positive category; (6) the implementation of learning by 89,81% were in the very good category. Based onthese results, it can be concluded that the recitation learning method was effectivein learning mathematics for class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 TelloBaruMakassar.
