PENGARUH GAYA BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII SMP SARIBUANA MAKASSAR

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out learning style and motivation for math achievement at the seventh-grade students of SMP Saribuana Makassar. The type of the research was ex-post facto. The sample of the research was 30 students. The data was analysed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The result indicatet that (1) learning style was 72,23 as categorized high with deviation standard was 9,464. (2) learning motivation of the students was 72,73 as categorized high with deviation standard was 5,172. (3) the average score math achievement was 80,83 as categorized high with deviation standard was 5,402. It can be concluded that learning style and motivation had significant effect on math achievement as shown by  = 18,937 + 0,2247  + 0,6278 . With coefficient determinant was  = 0,963. In brief, learning style and motivation play significant role for math achievement for the seventh-grade students of SMP Saribuana Makassar.
