Abstract
This research was classroom action research that aimed to increase students' creativity in solving HOTS questions through a STEAM-based cooperative learning model. The subject of the research was the eighth grade students of MTs Yapit Tonrorita in 2021/2022 academic year, which consisted of 15 students. The data has been analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results achieved in the process of implementing STEAM-based cooperative learning model was increasing students' creativity in solving HOTS questions which are marked by an increase in the average score from 60.27 in the first cycle to 73.60 in the second cycle and achange in teacher activity 72.66% in the first cycle increased to 82.35% in the second cycle. Based on the description above, there was an increased on students’ creativity in solving HOTS questions by applying the STEAM-based cooperative learning model.
