PENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ELICITING ACTIVITES PADA SISWA KELAS VIII-B SMP BAJIMINASA

Abstract
This research is classroom action research which is a research that raises actual problems by teachers in the field. This study aims to identify and analyze the application of the Eliciting Activities learning model to class VIII-B students of SMP Bajiminasa. The subjects in this research were class VIII-B students of Bajiminasa Middle School in the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 17 students. The research data was obtained through the results of learning achievement tests and observations in each cycle I and cycle II. The results show that: 1) the results of students' mathematics learning in cycle 1 are in the medium category with an average score of 64.44 with a standard deviation of 11.108 and a median of 64 and have not yet reached the minimum completeness criterion of 75. 2) the mathematics learning outcomes of cycle II are at high category with an average score of 80.65 with a standard deviation of 109.74 and a median of 82 and has achieved the minimum completeness criteria, namely classically 85% whose value is> 70 from an ideal score of 100. The application of eliciting activities learning models can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes VIII-B Bajiminasa Middle School.
