Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics class X social studies SMA Makassar Raya through the implementation of the Treffinger learning model with a scientific approach. The type of this research was classroom action research with the research subjects being 27 students of class X IPS SMA Makassar Raya. Data collection was carried out by learning achievement tests and observations. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and obtained an average score of mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I of 65.55 with a standard deviation of 14.29 and an average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle II of 83.26 with a standard deviation of 7 , 197. Completeness of classical learning outcomes in cycle I was 44.44% and in cycle II there was an increase of 92.59%. Thus, the results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of the Treffinger learning model with a scientific approach can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class X IPS SMA Makassar Raya.
