Abstract

This research aimed to measure the effektivense of the implementation of the Discovery Learning model through Means – Ends Analysis on mathematics learning of the eleventh – grade TKJ student at SMK Bajiminasa Makassar. It was pre-experimental research with one group of pretest – posstest. The population of the research was all eleventh-grade Tkj student at SMK Bajiminasa Makassar in the academic year 2019/2020. The sample was the eleventh-grader Tkj students. The result showed that: (1) the average score of mathematics learning after teaches using Discovery learning through Means-Ends Analysis strategy was 84.73 and at the high category and reachs the mastery level (KKM); (2) the improvement of students learning outcome after implementing Discovery learning model through Means-Ends Analysis strategy was at the average category with again 0.73; (3) the average percentage of student activity was 83.3% and at activitve category; (4) the average percentage of student response was 80.11% and at positive category; and (5) the average percentage of learning implementation was 87.5% and a good category. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model Throgh Mens-Ends Analysis Strategy effective towards the students mathematics learning outcome.
