EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS X SMA PGRI 2 MAKASSAR
Abstract
This study aims to measure the effectiveness of problem solving methods on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of this research is pre-experimental research with the entire population of class X SMA PGRI 2 Makassar, the sample in this research is class X-A students. From the descriptive statistical analysis, it shows that student learning outcomes in the pretest are in the very low category with an average score of 37.50 with a standard deviation of 14.386 and student learning outcomes in the posttest are in the high category with an average score of 79.20 with a standard deviation of 13.071 and a score ideal 100. The results of the analysis illustrate that learning outcomes experience a significant increase from the pretest to the posttest with a gain value of 0.71. It can be concluded that the Problem Solving method is effective on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X SMA PGRI 2 Makassar.
