Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by applying the inquiry minds want to know learning model which aims to improve student learning outcomes. The population of this study were class X SMA Makassar Ray students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The number of samples is 19 students. The data collection technique used is through a test of student learning outcomes in each cycle. Analysis of research data was carried out using quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results obtained from this study explain that after applying the inquiry minds want to know learning model there is an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes at the end of cycle I obtained a mastery percentage of 57.8% and the end of cycle II increased to a percentage of completeness of 89.48 %. Based on the assessment category used, the scores of students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I which were categorized as complete were 11 students and in cycle II as many as 17 students. From the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the inquiry mind want to know learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class X SMA Makassar Raya.
