PENGARUH MODEL PEMEBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT) TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMA TUT WURI HANDAYANI MAKASSAR

Abstrak
This research aimed to determine theeffect of Numbered Head Together ( NHT) learning model on the mathematics learning achievement. The population of the research was the tenth- grade students of SMA Tut Wuri Handayani Makassar which consisted of two classes namely classes X MIPA and classes X IPS . Because the population only consist of two classes, the sample of the research was class X mathematics and Natural Sciences as an xperimental class taught using NHT learning model and class X social Sciences as an control class taught by lecture method. This research used descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptively, the mathematics learning achievement of the experimental class with an average of 90.36 and the average mathematics learning achievement of the control class was 84.23. While the results of inferensial Statistical analysis obtained t-test statistics with = 17.075 and = 1. 701 where it is rejected and accepted. Thus , it is concluded that teh matmatics learning achievement of students taught by NHT learning model is higher than the mathematics learning achievement taught by the lecture method at the tenth- grade student of SMA Tut wuri Handayani Makassar.
