Abstract

This research was aimed to improve the students’ learning outcomes in mathematics through the application of Accelerated Learning Type Somatic, Auditory, Visual dan Intellectual (SAVI) learning model in mathematics with the build flat side room material of the eighth-grade student of SMP Negeri 41 Satu Atap Makassar. The kind of this research was the class action research. The result of this research showed the improvement: (1) for the first cycle gain the pre-test score 66.434, and the standard deviation was 14.924 with the ideal score was 100, with the result completeness was 44% and the second cycle was improved to 81.22, standard deviation 6.58 with the ideal score was 100, with the result completeness was 91%. There was changed activity of the students’ score in cycle 1 was 77% to be 87% and the teacher activity 3.33 with good category improve to be 3.56 with excellent. From the discussion above there was improvement of the students’ learning outcomes in mathematics with the application of Accelerated Learning Type Somatic, Auditory, Visual dan Intellectual (SAVI) learning model.
