Abstract
This research was experimental research, using one group pretest-posttest research design. This research was a imed to know the effectiveness learning in mathematic throughGiving Question And Getting Answer (GQGA) approachat theeighth-grade students of SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar in 2022/2023 academic yearwith total students were 19 students by using saturated sample technique becauseof taking one class. Technique collecting data used students’ result test. Technique data analyzing using descriptive statistics and N-gain test. The research result showed that: 1) The average pre-test score was 55,01 and categorized low with a standard deviation of 13,751; 2) The posttest result was improved 75,68 on the excellent category with standard deviation 6.725 and 3) Test inggain analysis test obtainable N-gain score normalized (G) attheexperimental class that is 0.45, which was interpreted to obtain the average value of student learning outcomes classified as moderate. Based on the results of the research as a whole, it can be concluded that Giving Question And Getting Answer (GQGA) model was effective to be applied in learning mathematics for class VII students of SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar.
