Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the application of the gallery walk learning method can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class X PHT 1 students at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar. This type of research is classroom action research with the research subjects being students of class X PHT 1 SMK Negeri 8 Makassar in the odd semester 2019/2020, totaling 27 people. Data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests and observations. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and obtained an average score of student mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I of 62.93 and a standard deviation of 11.035. Then in cycle II an average score of student mathematics learning outcomes was 82.07 and a standard deviation of 82.07. 7,721. Classical learning outcomes in cycle I was 29.62% and in cycle II there was an increase of 92.6%. From the results of this research it can be concluded that implementing the gallery walk learning method can improve mathematics learning outcomes.
