PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PROSES BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS VIII MTS AN NUR RANTE BARU MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN OPEN ENDED LEARNING

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Open Ended Learning model for class VIII students of MTs An Nur Rantebaru. The sample used was 23 people. Data collection was used by using learning achievement tests and observation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes in cycle I reaching an average of 55.13 and in cycle II of 78, 34. The standard deviation in cycle I was 12.62 and in cycle II it was 5.91. Based on the completeness category of learning outcomes used, the scores for students' mathematics learning outcomes were categorized as complete in cycle I with a percentage of 17.39% and in cycle II which was categorized as complete, it increased by 91.3%. From these results it can be concluded that there was an increase in the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTs An Nur Rantebaru after applying the open ended learning model.
