PRODUKTIVITAS TENAGA KERJA BONGKAR MUAT PETIKEMAS DI PT PELINDO IV MAKASSAR SELAMA PEMBERLAKUAN PPKM

Abstract

Makassar container terminal is the main terminal that provides container stacking and handling services, this container terminal port is managed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV Makassar. This study aims to determine the productivity of the loading and unloading workforce during the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) during the pandemic using a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews with several informants. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that, first, the factors that affect the productivity of loading and unloading workers include human resources which include education, wages, skill development and work spirit. Then the work environment and facilities which include the adaptation of loading and unloading workers in the work environment in the midst of the covid 19 atmosphere. Second, the productivity of loading and unloading workers includes the quantity of work, namely the percentage of loading and unloading results which decreased at the beginning of the year of covid 19 and the quality of work, namely the results and quality of work are still good even though they must comply with the applicable health protocols in the work environment.
