PENERAPAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KUALITAS PRODUK TELEKOMUNIKASI PADA PT TELKOM AKSES DI MAKASSAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the impact of the Influence of the Implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) on product quality at PT Telkom Akses in Makassar. The research method is a survey. The population in this study were all employees at the PT Telkom Pettarani Makassar Office of 90 people. The sampling technique used is Saturated Sampling. Because the population in this study was small, the entire population was used as a sample (100% sample). So the number of samples in this study were 90 people. The primary data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed directly to the selected respondents. As for secondary data, it is done by directly requesting data that has been processed or processed in the personnel department or other parts of the company. The results showed that the Total Quality Management (TQM) Variable of PT Telkom Makassar has a strong correlation with the quality of telecommunications products, this can be seen from the relatively large number of correlation coefficients. While the results of the regression analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on the quality of telecommunication products at PT Telkom Makassar. If the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) intensifies or increases, it will increase the quality of telecommunications products, and vice versa if the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) decreases, it can be expected that the quality of telecommunications products will also decrease.
