DAMPAK PROMOSI JABATAN TERHADAP PRESTASI KERJA (Studi pada PT Telkom Makassar)

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the impact of promotion on work performance at PT Telkom Makassar. The research method is a survey. The population in this study were all employees of PT Telkom Pettarani Makassar, totaling 90 people. The sampling technique used is Saturated Sampling. Because the population in this study was small, the entire population was used as a sample (100% sample). So the number of samples in this study were 90 people. The primary data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed directly to the selected respondents. As for secondary data, it is done by directly requesting data that has been processed or processed in the personnel department or other parts of the company.The results of the study show that the Job Promotion variable has a very strong correlation with Employee Performance, this can be seen from the relatively large correlation coefficient. While the results of the regression analysis show that there is a positive and significant impact of Job Promotion on Job Performance at PT Telkom Makassar. If the implementation of the promotion is getting better or fairer, it will increase employee performance, and vice versa if the implementation of the promotion is not good/fair, then work performance will also decrease.
