Abstract
This research is a quasi-experimental studywhich aims at finding out the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model with a scientific approach to the mathematics learning outcomes at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. The sample was class XI MIPA 3 as an experimental class taught by Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) with a scientific approach and class XI MIPA 4 as a control class taught by direct learning model. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that the group that was given the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model with a scientific approach obtained an average score of 79.13 with standard deviation of 16,94 and the group taught with the direct learning model obtained an average score of 66.81 with standard deviation of 19.13 while the results of the inferential analysis obtained the t test was 2.2874 while the t table was 1.6785. It can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students taught by Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model is higher than taught by direct learning model at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar.
