USING COMMERCIAL TIME GAME TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL AT THE FOURTH SEMESTER STUDENT OF ENGLISH DEPARTMENT AT STKIP YPUP MAKASSAR
Abstract
The focus of this research was to observe whether Using Commercial Time game
could improve students’ Speaking skill at the fourth semester students of English
Department at STKIP YPUP Makassar. This study used a pre-experimental design
with one group pre-test and post-test. The sample used in this research was 15
students by using Random sampling technique. The result of the data showed that
there was a significant difference of students’ Speaking skill. It was proved by t-test
value higher than t-table (15.925 >2.145). Based on the result analysis, it can be
concluded that improving Speaking skill by using Commercial Time game can
improves the students’ Speaking skill at the fourth semester students of English
Department at STKIP-YPUP Makassar.
