INCREASING STUDENTS VOCABULARY MASTERY BY USING PERSONAL VOCABULARY NOTES
Abstract
The objective of the research was to find out whether or not the use of Personal Vocabulary Notes (PVN) technique increases student vocabulary mastery.This research used Pre-experimental method. The population of this research was the first grade of SMA Cendrawasih Makasar in academic 2021/2022. This research was twenty students and used total sampling technique in one class. The result of data analysis showed that there was significance difference in students vocabulary mastery, where the students score in post-test was higher than score in pre-test(75,75≥ 53) and the result of t-test was higher than t-table ( 5,86≥2,093). Based on the result of this research , it can be concluded that using personal vocabulary notes (PVN) can increase students vocabulary mastery.
