Abstract

This research is a class action research that aims to develop the value of short story writing skills in grade 2 students of SMA YP PGRI 2 Makassar. The result of this study showed that there was in increase in the avarage score of students short story writing skills through time token learning and video media learning models. In the first cycle, the student completion precentage was 55% with an average score of 60. Then in cycle II the precentage of student completeness is 70% with an average score of 80. Futhermore, it can be concluded that the use of the time token and video media learning model can increase the learning achievement score of short story writing skills in high school students YP PGRI 2 Makassar.
